What Our Client Says
Apex Moving works throughout Torquay and the Surf Coast, roughly one hundred kilometres south-west of Melbourne and just south of Geelong, in postcode 3228. The town has grown substantially over the past two decades, and the two sides of it are quite different to work in.
The newer estates inland are modern housing on compact lots — driveways, garages, frequently double-storey with an internal staircase that decides whether large furniture needs dismantling. Some estates set their own access rules or hours for heavy vehicles. Closer to the beach, older coastal houses often have decks, external steps and split levels, and exposed frontages where furniture needs proper protection on the carry.
Seasonality matters here in a way it does not inland. Over summer and school holidays the town fills, traffic on the Surf Coast Highway slows considerably, and parking near the beachfront becomes difficult. We plan arrival times around that rather than against it, and booking earlier in those periods genuinely helps.
Services include packing and unpacking, fragile item handling, secure storage between settlement dates or seasons, and removal of unwanted goods in line with Surf Coast Shire waste and recycling guidance. We follow the Victorian Government Moving House checklist for utilities and address changes.
