What Our Client Says
Apex Moving works in Aberfeldy and the surrounding mountain district, north of Walhalla in the Gippsland high country, roughly one hundred and eighty kilometres east of Melbourne by road.
Aberfeldy is among the most difficult places we service, and we would rather be straightforward about that than optimistic. The approach is by winding mountain road, partly unsealed, with sections where a large removal truck is simply the wrong vehicle. In most cases the practical answer is a smaller truck, more trips, and a longer day — which we quote honestly at the outset rather than discovering halfway up.
Weather is a genuine factor. Road conditions in this country change with rain and season, and we plan timing around that rather than committing to a date we may not be able to reach safely. If conditions make a date unrealistic we will say so before you book, not after.
Properties here are mountain homes, cabins and rural blocks, often with steps, decks and split levels. Services include packing and unpacking, fragile item handling, secure storage at either end where dates do not align, and removal of unwanted goods in line with Baw Baw Shire waste and recycling guidance. We follow the Victorian Government Moving House checklist for utilities and address changes.
We work as Victoria removalists for moves right across the state.
