What Our Client Says
Apex Moving works throughout Arthurs Seat, on the Mornington Peninsula around seventy kilometres south of the Melbourne CBD in postcode 3936. Of all the areas we cover, this is the one where the site itself matters most.
Arthurs Seat rises steeply from the bay, and homes are built into the slope. Driveways are often narrow, winding and steep enough that a large removal truck physically cannot get up or turn around at the top. In those cases we use a smaller shuttle vehicle to move loads between the house and a larger truck parked at the bottom. It is a slower method and we price it honestly rather than quoting a flat rate and adding charges later.
Many properties also have decks, external stairs and split-level interiors. Long items frequently have to be carried around rather than through, and some need dismantling. Telling us about steps and levels when you book is the single most useful thing you can do for an accurate quote.
There is a mix of permanent residents and holiday homes here, so we handle both full relocations and part-loads into storage between seasons. Services include packing and unpacking, fragile item handling, secure storage, and removal of unwanted goods in line with Mornington Peninsula Shire waste and recycling guidance. We follow the Victorian Government Moving House checklist for utilities and address changes.
