Business Relocations
Office, clinic and shopfront relocations around Boronia Junction and the Boronia Road and Dorset Road frontages.

Removalists in Boronia
Boronia sits in the City of Knox, roughly 29 kilometres east of the CBD, where the outer-eastern suburbs run up against the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. It was built out largely through the postwar decades and the 1960s and 70s: single-storey brick-veneer homes on generous blocks, long looping streets and courts, and mature gardens. Closer to the station and along the main roads, older houses have steadily been replaced with unit and townhouse developments.
Access and driveways
For most Boronia addresses access is straightforward — a private driveway, a short carry, and no competition for kerb space. The variables are the ones the terrain creates. Land rises towards The Basin and the ranges, so a share of properties sit above or below the street with driveways that climb or drop away, and some of the court blocks are battle-axe or rear allotments with a long shared drive to the house. Whether a loaded truck can get in and back out safely is worth settling when we quote rather than on the morning; where it cannot, we plan a shuttle from the street and price the carry in.
Units and townhouses near the station
The newer infill closer to Boronia Junction is a different job again. Two- and three-storey townhouses mean internal stairs and tight turns at the landing, and the older walk-up unit blocks along Boronia Road and Dorset Road usually have shared driveways and a handful of visitor bays. On those addresses we prefer an earlier start so the truck can be positioned before the street fills, and larger items are measured against the stairwell before the day.
Getting around
Boronia has its own station on the Belgrave line, sitting below street level in a cutting, with the shopping centre built around it. For trucks, the useful routes are Boronia Road, Dorset Road, Mountain Highway and Scoresby Road, with Stud Road and EastLink a short run west for anything heading across the city. The roads around the station and shops are the slow point in both peaks; the residential streets behind them rarely are.
Where Boronia moves go
A lot stay in the Knox and Yarra Ranges corridor: Ferntree Gully, Bayswater, Wantirna, The Basin or further up into the hills. There is also a regular pattern of downsizing out of the older large blocks into local townhouses, and families moving in from further west for the block sizes and the proximity to the ranges.
