Removalists in Rosanna

What we offer
in Rosanna
Apex Moving provides removalist services in Rosanna, a north-eastern suburb of interwar and postwar homes on hilly ground above the Yarra flats. Driveways are private but often steep, and Rosanna Road carries heavy traffic through the middle of it, so timing matters as much as access.

Residential Moves
Household moves across Rosanna, from original interwar and postwar homes to newer townhouses and units near the station.

Business Relocations
Office, clinic and shopfront relocations around the Lower Plenty Road and Beetham Parade frontages.

Specialty Item Transport
Pianos, artwork, workshop gear and other heavy or awkward items moved with the right equipment and enough crew.

Removalists in Rosanna
Rosanna sits in the City of Banyule, roughly 13 kilometres north-east of the CBD, between Heidelberg, Macleod, Viewbank and Lower Plenty. The housing is mostly interwar and postwar — brick and weatherboard homes on comfortable blocks, tree-lined streets, and a steady replacement of originals with two-storey rebuilds and townhouse pairs, particularly closer to the station and the shops.
Hills, steps and driveways
Banyule is genuinely hilly, and Rosanna is no exception. A large share of properties sit above or below street level, with driveways that climb or drop away and front paths that arrive at the door via a flight of steps. Steps on the approach change a move more than most people expect: they slow every trip, rule out trolleys for part of the load and usually mean more crew rather than a bigger truck. We ask about the driveway grade and the number of steps to the door when we quote, so the day is staffed and priced for what is actually there.
Rosanna Road and timing
Rosanna Road runs through the suburb as a major route carrying substantial commercial and through traffic between the north-east and the Eastern Freeway. It is consistently slow in both peaks, and for any address on or near it that shapes the start time more than anything else. We plan the arrival and the loaded run around those windows rather than through them.
Older homes and newer townhouses
The original homes have narrow hallways and door openings well under modern widths, so fridges and larger lounges often need internal doors off their hinges. Many also have a shed, workshop or under-house storage that holds more than the inventory suggests. The newer townhouses are the reverse — easy entry, then a narrow staircase with a tight landing turn where wardrobes and bed bases stall. We measure the awkward pieces against the route beforehand either way.
Getting around
Rosanna station sits on the Hurstbridge line with the Beetham Parade shops beside it, and buses connect across Banyule. For trucks the useful routes are Rosanna Road, Lower Plenty Road, Banksia Street and the Greensborough Highway, with the Eastern Freeway a short run south.
Where Rosanna moves go
Most stay in the north-east: Heidelberg, Macleod, Viewbank, Ivanhoe, Lower Plenty or Greensborough. There is also a regular pattern of downsizing out of the older family homes into local townhouses, and families moving in for the schools and the train line.
